Teaching

OIiver is a regular face in Sydney’s theatre classrooms- teaching, coaching and lecturing for NIDA Open, Sport for Jove, No. 1 Drama Studio and Impro Australia.

His actor-centric, impro driven practice focuses on freeing the performer to play from their personal truth in order to create rich, dynamic and above all spontaneous work.

Oliver also coaches actors one-on-one for HSC IP performances, auditions and self tapes.

“Oliver's inspiring masterclass gave my Year 12 Drama students the impetus they needed to really get stuck into their individual performances. He gave each student the opportunity to focus on the choices they were making in their pieces and to find the truth in their work. It was so refreshing for the students to work with a skilled actor and improviser and it made all the difference!”
